The Lawyers App is a service operated by Sibasi Ltd. Personal data is handled under the Sibasi corporate privacy policy, which is the binding document for this service.

The corporate privacy policy sets out what we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, where it is stored, and the rights you can exercise. It applies in full to your use of The Lawyers App.

These points are specific to legal practice. They sit alongside the corporate document and do not replace it — where the two could be read differently, the corporate document governs.
Matter data stays confidential
Client files, matter notes and documents you hold in The Lawyers App belong to your firm. Your firm is the data controller; Sibasi is the processor. We do not read, mine or reuse matter content, and we do not use it to train models.
Privilege is respected
Material covered by legal professional privilege does not lose that protection because it is stored in our software. We do not disclose it to third parties, and where we receive a legal demand for it we will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.
Firm-level isolation
Every firm’s data is separated from every other firm’s. Access by our support staff requires a reason, is limited to what the request needs, and is logged.
Conflicts and client identity
Client and counterparty names entered for conflict checking are used for that purpose within your firm only. They are never pooled into a cross-firm database.
